Poor Charlie’s #winning ways have landed him a covetted time slot for the Canadian premiere of his new show Anger Management. While it has been on in the US for a month and a half now CTV has moved up their broadcast of the show.  Originally to debut in mid-September Anger Management will now premiere at approximately 8pm AT / 7pm ET / 6pm CT / 5pm MT / 4pm PT, immediately following the closing ceremony of the London Olympics.

If the name seems appropriately familiar it is because either it is based on the film of the same name starring Jack Nicholson and Adam Sandler from 2003 or because it is you thought Poor Charlie could do with some help.

It is being produced for FX with a bit of an interesting and unconventional gimmick. If the first 10 episodes are successful it gets a renewal for an additional 90 episodes. It is sort of like playing one hand of poker and then either going ‘all in’ on the second hand or folding. There is no middle ground.
