on many of the shows featured on the five eight .com

Tim Minear is well known among television genre fans for his work on such shows as Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, The X-Files and Strange World.

A frequent partner with Joss Whedon, Minear spent four seasons as writer/ director/executive producer on the Buffy The Vampire Slayer spin-off Angel, where he worked with Shawn Ryan. Minear partnered with Whedon again as show runner on cult favourites Firefly and dollhouse.

Minear’s association with 20th Century Fox Television includes executive producing the quirky comedy/drama Wonderfalls, the noir procedural The Inside, the noir buddy-crime drama terriers, and the cross country mystery/ adventure DRIVE. Additionally, Minear served as a consulting producer on the dramas Standoff and K-Ville. Currently Minear is developing a post- 9/11 re-imagining of the 1989 movie Alien Nation for SyFy channel and excutive producing The Chicago Code
