FOX's The Good Guys

postheadericonBradley Whitford is Detective Dan Stark

one of The Good Guys

"Whitford’s character is not supposed to be “cool” in any way – the fun is in watching the supreme delusions that his character has of his own awesomeness, based on what he thought cool was 20 years ago."

Dan Stark is a former big-shot detective who is now all but washed up and spends most of his time reliving his glory days of 1985 when he saved the governor's son's life. Series creator Matt Nix describes Dan Stark as being "actually a fantastic 1981 cop. He just hasn't moved along with the time. CSI stuff is like black magic."

Bradley Whitford is different in this role if you know him only from The West Wing. I've seen him in many films where he has is a sheer pleasure to watch. He proves here he can still do comedy. And that moustache!!!!
