Colin Hanks is Detective Jack Bailey

Jack Bailey an ambitious by-the-book detective whose attitude has made him few friends on the police force. Still he has his senses about him. He used to date one of the Assistant District Attorneys. He is still a bit hung up on her despite his protests to the contrary. Jack is usually calm-headed, preferring not to get his hands dirty at times when it is unnecessary. He admits to having attempted to grow a mustache to look tougher, but, because only the middle part grew, it looked like a "Hitler mustache." He gradually learns from Dan about the importance of a partner.

Colin Hanks is brilliant in this role. I haven't really watched a tv series he was in since Roswell. I hear he was amazing in Mad Men last year but i just haven't come around to watching that show, yet. (So much tv, so few hours in a day.)
