Jayne has become a familiar Canadian face from the
dozens of TV commercial, television roles and numerous film credits. Her
most recent commercial feature film appearances include My Big Fat
Greek Wedding and Chicago. Television credits over the years
include: The Collaborators (Canadian Film Award for Best Actress),
Last of The Four Letter Words (Earl Gray Award), King Of
Kensington, Funny Farm, Bizarre, Riverdale, Noddy & Friends and Dangerous
Offender (1998 Gemini Award for Best Supporting actress in a Drama).
Jayne also has an extensive theatre background, including being a member
of the original cast of Godspell at the Royal Alex, understudying
the lead role of Parthy in LiveEnt’s mega-musical Show Boat,
as well as being a founding member of Second City, along with Gilda Radner,
Andrea Martin, Eugene Levy and Victor Garber, to name a few. Jayne continues
to explore her comedy origins with the comedy group Women Fully Clothed
who appear regularly at Tim Simms Playhouse. She lives in Toronto and
has a husband and three children.
