tru CALLING is a brilliant presentation of "what if" starring Eliza Dushku (ANGEL, Bring It On, Sex & Breakfast, dollhouse) as Tru Davies, a college grad who just lost her internship that was going to help with medical school.

tru CALLING's cast also includes Zach Galifianakis (Hangover), Shawn Reaves (Sanctuary), A.J. Cook (Criminal Minds), Jessica Collins (Scoundrels, Big Shots), Benjamín Benítez, Matthew Bomer (White Collar, Chuck, Guilding Light), and Jason Priestley (Beverly Hills, 90210, Call Me Fitz, Love Monkey).

This exciting crime-caper-drama, which was the #151 show in US broadcast of 2003-04, kicked off its second season in February 2005 in New Zealand after being cancelled in the US. With the online popularity of the sdtv rips from TV3 and the cancellation of Point Pleasent (the show that was supposed to be the hit series that Tru Calling could never be) FOX made a wise decision to show the episodes already completed. The numbers were not great but then this is a season premiere on the 31 March and by then most people have set weekly viewing habits. Then the pathetisad excuse that it is a Christmas episode as the reason why the series finale would not be broadcast. 'Twas The Night Before Christmas... Again has never been shown on tv in Canada though it did get a screening on SciFi in the US on 21 January 2008 but by then the DVDs were already available for years in most markets.
